Item Propuesta de gestión para el mejoramiento de la distribución en el área de ensamble del regulador para gas R203 de la empresa metalmecánica Industrias Humcar S.A.SPeña-Guzmán, José David; Cruz Villarraga, Nelson HumbertoThis work contributes to a proposal for improvement in the assembly area for the most representative regulator for Industries Humcar S.A.S. which is R203, it was made based on the current area. The company is dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of accessories for gas which is located in the city of Bogotá and distributes nationally and internationally. In the first part, the identification of the problem is shown, which consists in the company having to produce parts at a low cost in order to win tenders, therefore, if it does not, it can lose the market. Then an analysis of the distribution factors in the plant in the assembly area, a study of time, material path, and 5S study was performed. When studying the situation it is proposed to make a U-cell in such a way that unnecessary records of the material within the assembly area are reduced, also proposing an adequate 5s, strategies to reduce the bottlenecks and specifically a JIT in order to have a continuous, synchronized and balanced flow.Item Propuesta de mejora del proceso de fabricación de la carpa tipo hangar 12x6 mediante la filosofía Lean Manufacturing en la empresa Carpas & Cubrimientos C&C SASAlfonso Garcia, Kevin Stiven; Torres Suarez, Hervin Duvan; Cruz Villarraga, Nelson HumbertoThe company Carpas & Coverings C & C. located in Bogotá, is dedicated to the development of tents with an experience of 15 years. By means of information collected, it is observed that the organization does not comply with the stipulated order times, does not have tools to measure production performance and errors that provoke reprocessing and increase manufacturing times are presented. For this work, the main objective is to design a proposal for improvement using Lean Manufacturing tools that benefit the company and to contribute to improve the performance of production, this was done through a study of times and movements of manufacturing of the hangar tent type 12x6, through which a new process flow and route diagrams are proposed, performance indicators are generated and a diagnosis of Lean Manufacturing was developed and the use of the following tools was determined: 5S, Poka Yoke, Jidoka , Kanban and VSM; and a cost and benefit study was carried out. The purpose of the work is to be able to visualize the state of the company by means of indicators, propose an optimal working environment where the work areas are in excellent condition, eliminate the errors that are committed in the manufacturing processes, better visualization of the flow of process, propose some machinery options that help to improve the times and quality of the processes and eliminate or diminish to the maximum the tasks that do not generate value to the manufacturing processItem Propuesta para la mejora de la productividad en la empresa de calzado Contquin SportAlvarez Quintero, Kelly Gabriela; Villegas Diaz, Maria Paula; Peña, Luis HectorThe improvement of productivity in a manufacturing company is determined by the way in which they optimize the inputs used for the elaboration of their products, in order to improve their activities, reduce costs, make the maximum use of time and improve customer satisfaction. Contquin Sport is a company dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of sports shoes for women, men and children nationwide. The objective of this document is to present a proposal that covers several aspects of improvement within the organization, in order to create possible feasible solutions achieved during the development of the project. First of all, a diagnosis was made of the company, in order to determine the aspects of improvement, after which it proceeded to make a count of sales since 2016 in order to make a forecast, an intake was made rigorous times for each work area, in order to determine the productive capacity and to be able to carry out an accurate workload, a production master plan was made based on the sales forecast, an explosion of materials was carried out that opened the way for material requirement plan, costs were determined for labor and production times, a purchase plan was made, and finally an implementation of the 5S methodology was carried out. This project was carried out based on the knowledge and tools acquired throughout the industrial engineering career.
