Item Documentación de la estructura de un ERP para la formación de Ingenieros IndustrialesZambrano-Álvarez, Julián Esteban; Aguilar-Moreno, Javier Antonio; Cruz-Villarraga, Nelson HumbertoThe design of an academic ERP is the project of the research group of the Universitaria Agustiniana of the Industrial Engineering program, which consists of creating an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) which is a software that integrates all the systems of a company, its acronym ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning which seeks to integrate all departments of a company or enterprise making them work synchronized to have real-time information, ERP facilitates the delivery of data and information in real time, which means that it will make more efficient resources, investment and decision making of a company, you can plan and carry a better management, that is to say that the information provided by this software will facilitate all work and integrate under parameterization synchronization of business processes. For this particular case, an initial structure is proposed that includes all the key processes of a company (manufacturing, logistics, sales, purchasing, financial, marketing, customer relationship, forecasts) and in turn these processes are divided into modules, the seedbed will focus on the manufacturing process, in the modules of MPS, MRP, quality, inventories, EOQ and reports. Once the structure is established, it provides a process standardization format called SOP Standard Operating Procedure, this must be applied in each of the modules mentioned, the methodology takes as first parameter that it must start from reliable databases to which the software can integrate all the information, the other is the structure by modules properly documented for the use by engineering students. In surveys carried out, the results show that 85% of the students surveyed do not know or know very little about ERP, 64.9% of those surveyed have not had the opportunity to interact with a tool of these characteristics, 86.5% would like it to be included in the program content of the production subjects, 70.3% consider that knowing this tool would increase their competitiveness in the labor market, 58.5% of the students surveyed state that it is very important to know how to handle software such as ERP. The results shown above, strengthen the importance of continuing with the project to achieve labor competitiveness in engineering students, so a good structure and effective documentation will be of great contribution in this project.
