Item Consolidación de compras al proveedor Donaldson en la empresa soluciones empresariales 360 grados S.A.SParada-Duarte, Angie Paola; Parra Herrera, Jairo EnriqueThe aim of the internship is to design a freight consolidation proposal for the supplies of Donaldson. The first step is to know the procurement process and the delivery process defined by the supplier politics. Then we analyze the conditions about the procurement, dispatch, and delivery process that are related to the global costs, this in order to design a supply strategy to reduce the global costs for the Donaldson provider. For the development of methodology phases, we describe the procurement process, where we analyze the different factors among the references, quantities, delivery time, and store sales. This information is related with the operation impacts and the collection politics of the supplier, in the same way, we analyze the supplier worldwide politics to identify the opportunities of design in the strategy of reduce cost. We find repetitive shopping from the same product for a month, wasting resources that means transport and facilities costs. The information allows to design a consolidation strategy for the association among companies, shopping consolidation, and fix system parameters for the supply chain. This work provides a proposal that integrates the operations area and decisions maker, starting with the procurement process, and the communication among the companies, ensuring the reduction of the cost in the process. This proposal works as a tool that allows to make a tracking of shopping levels and cost of transport in the Donald provider consolidation.Item Propuesta plan de mejora del área de compras empresa GM Ingeniería Consultoría y Construcción S.A.SToro-Valbuena, Diana María; Duque Gaitán, MarioThis internship is proposed to design a strategic process in the purchasing area, which is developed in the following three phases: identification of the current purchasing process and the shortcomings that arise, search for theoretical information on the research topic and design a strategy that will reduce costs with suppliers. For the development of the aforementioned phases, documents provided by the company of the last three construction works executed were reviewed, the development of a theoretical framework where strategic purchase and supply models were sought. In this way, the proposal for the implementation process is presented, according to the following components: a new purchasing flow chart that will help them with a more organized purchasing management, the application of the Krajic matrix that allows knowing the critical materials at the time of place orders and reduce delays in deliveries by suppliers.
