It also shows the import dynamics in the country from the case with the United States which is the main partner of the Colombian economy and a benchmark for the promotion of electric mobility in the continent. The growth of imports of this type of vehicles has been vertiginous and although this phenomenon has not happened only with the North American country, this has been a fundamental country in the momentum that has had this sector in the last five years in Colombia. The year 2018 is highlighted in this article as it not only drives the market for electric cars, but also, a growth in the import of electric motorcycles is evident with a massive arrival to the Colombian market of important brands that position themselves as the main sellers of motorcycles and electric bicycles nationwide. In accordance with the above, the factors that caused the internationalization of cosmetics are analyzed, so that it can serve as an example for companies seeking internationalization of products in our country. The methodology used in this work is qualitative with a descriptive approach to give more clarity to this project by analyzing and compiling information databases. The methodology of this research has a quantitative approach and a correlational scope. It is necessary to highlight that we have carried out this research in two phases; the first was developed through the collection of information, where we used the statistical data of the Bank of the Republic of Colombia and the databases of exports of United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) as main sources; In the second phase, we carried out the corresponding comparative analyses of these data. As a result, we observe that the exchange rate had a significant influence on Colombian agricultural exports to Chile and partially on exports to Mexico and Peru. We found that the Colombian government, through the Bank of the Republic, used exchange-rate policy strategies to avoid the negative impact of the revaluation. However, these strategies were not enough and had to be complemented with programs to boost the agricultural sector. Therefore, we conclude that the exchange rate is not the only determinant of the competitiveness of the Colombian agricultural exports. With the context of the economic importance of flower growing activity in Colombia, especially in the Tequendama region, highlighting its export potential and the opportunity represented by free trade agreements with countries like Canada. The theoretical framework is based on Michael Porter's five competitive forces model and analyses the competitive pressures that companies face. Background information is compiled that highlights the economic opportunity of exporting Colombian flowers and foliage, as well as the need for innovation in the sector. How is that process, what conditions should be to complete it with the least margin of error possible, and study which place is better to export? In order to respond to the objectives of the research, a non-experimental design is proposed and it seeks to resolve the research question through the use of secondary sources which do not allow any manipulation of the variables described or studied by other researchers. In this way, the scope of the investigation is descriptive since its objective is to provide detailed information regarding the fundamental characteristics of the Mercado Libre platform and its internationalization. During the development of the investigation, the company is described as a Born Global where it is observed that Mercado Libre developed an ecosystem composed of six business units, which provide solutions for payments, logistics, financing, advertising and services, additionally it has a projection in International business is very broad, but among them the development of its credit market and payment market is part of one of the most promising strategies in relation to financial inclusion.Item Plan de mejora para el fortalecimiento del portafolio y fidelización de las empresas afiliadas a la Cámara de Comercio e Industria Colombo ChilenaBermúdez-Lambraño, Laura Camila; Rocha Alfonso, AndresThe purpose of this project is to develop an improvement plan for the strengthening of the portfolio and the diversification of distribution channels of the Chilean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, since it presents a recession in the provision of its services and little follow-up to companies, making it difficult the loyalty of the affiliates and clients. In order to solve these problems, the analysis is carried out using the logical framework approach matrix, in which the actors participating in the project are identified and from these it is decided who will be the main focus actor and direct beneficiary thereof, in addition An analysis is made through the problem tree where the causes and effects of the presented difficulty are identified, the expected situation, means and ends, in which the problem statement is established, in addition to relating the solution alternatives according to the means. To this end, the research question is: What commercial opportunities does the Colombian textile sector have in the framework of the FTA with Canada? To carry out this objective, the production, value added and intermediate consumption conditions of these activities were identified, a trade analysis between both countries is presented and the Grubel & Lloyd Index is calculated. The methodological approach of this research is mixed, with qualitative data supporting quantitative data analysis. It was concluded that in Colombia the trade to Canada, as far as the textile industry is concerned, is characterized by being of an inter-industrial type as evidenced in the results for the years 2014 - 2018.Item Internacionalización del pez ornamental Arowana plateadoGalvis-Ocampo, Alison Viviana; Peña-Carvajal, Carlos Armando; Delgadillo-Letrado, Eduar David; Garcia Castiblanco, Claudia PaolaThis research work was carried out during the second cycle of 2019, in order to develop a study on the production of ornamental fish specifically the Colombian Silver Arowana fish (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum), to determine potential markets to which can be exported and determined an internationalization strategy to the market with more potential, bearing in mind that biotrade is a booming trend and a country with natural wealth such as Colombia must take advantage of the opportunities that are generated from sustainable way. For the development of this research, a descriptive and qualitative methodology was used, in which mainly secondary sources of information were used. Similarly, the work is based on the theory of available resources, taking into account that few ecosystems in which the fish is located in mention. As a result, attractive markets were identified in Europe, in articulating Germany and the Netherlands, so the last chapter focuses on the export strategy to these two nations.Item Ventaja competitiva internacional a través de la implementación de una ecoetiqueta en un producto de la empresa Fuller PintoGarcía-Garzón, Alejandro; Rocha Alfonso, AndresThe main objective of this degree work is the required preparation that the Fuller Pinto company should carry out to be more competitive in international markets through an environmental certification or ecolabel in one of its products. The distinction and added value that certifications of this type may provide depend on the market and the specific good to be marketed. As a result, In a methodological manner, a market was determined based on the EPI ranking related to environmental performance and the capacity of access to the markets according to the product. France turned out to be most optimal country for immersion because it ranks second in the EPI and also has the product of liquid hand soap with a 0% tariff. This fact make France figure as the best candidate to be selected. Then, because France is in the European Union, the EU ECOLABEL was set as an ecolabel of study due to the level of recognition and the coverage it has within the European market. The requirements that the ecolabel demands to be able to certify the product of liquid hand soap were exposed, evaluating only the requirements at the composition and ingredients level and then this was compared with the liquid hand soap that Fuller Pinto sells. It was found that Fuller Pinto does not have studies or certifications that prove or comply with the level of compliance that this product has to qualify it as eco-friendly according to EU ECOLABEL.Item Innovación de procesos a través de impresoras 3D para aumentar las exportaciones de joyeríaBeltrán-Calderón, Johan Enrique; Redondo-Mendez, Andrea CarolinaThe main objective of the document is to determine the productive and export impact that business innovation can have in the Colombian jewelry sector, specifically the implementation of 3D printing. To do this, the export capacity of the Colombian jewelry sector was identified and the technological innovation of 3D printing was characterized and how this influences the export of Colombian jewelry. In order to determine the benefits of 3D printing innovation in jewelry companies in the Colombian country, future research and comparisons of the effects of 3D printing business innovation were carried out and data on the current state of the jewelry sector in Colombia was presented. It was found that the export percentage showed a decrease in the export of the traditional jewelry industry, which shows that the industry must look for alternatives to increase its presence, such as technological innovation. In this investigation the requirements can be identified and or requirements that must fulfill the companies that decide to be certified by the resolution 187 of 2006 this one was modified by the resolution 199 of 2016 which, it is the regulation for the primary production, processing, packed, labelling, storage, certification, import and commercialization of agricultural ecological products and the Resolution 148 of 2004 for to which there is given the creation of the Stamp of ecological Food which guarantees the quality of the products with this differentiation. Likewise with an analysis of the trends and variations of the quantities and value FOB in dollars of the exports realized in a range of nine years from 2009 to 2017 for five of the principal companies of the sector, analyzing between if the companies with certification of the stamp of ecological food and companies without this certification.Item Inversión extranjera directa de Canadá hacía ColombiaCuenca-Guerra, Daniela; Nuncira Cervantes, WilsonThe main objective of this research is to analyse the performance of the Foreign Direct Investment flow from Canada to Colombia considering as a starting point the effective date of the Colombia-Canada Free Trade Agreement commence date. For this purpose, we worked within the theoretical economic integration framework, foreign direct investment and free trade agreement information, supported by a documentary-type methodology. The research concludes that from the effective commence date of the Colombia-Canada FTA there is a 433% increase in the flow of foreign direct investment for the period of 2011-2020 coming from Canada.
