    Estrategias de drenaje sostenible en la gestión del riesgo por inundación

    This research analyzes the implementation of sustainable urban drainage strategies as a mechanism to mitigate flood risk in the department of Antioquia, Colombia. The study arises from the increase in extreme hydrometeorological events associated with climate change and accelerated urbanization processes. The methodology applied corresponds to a mixed approach, integrating quantitative and qualitative tools to identify highly vulnerable areas and evaluate mitigation alternatives based on green infrastructure. The proposed solutions include rain gardens, permeable pavements, urban wetlands, and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS), aimed at reducing surface runoff, improving infiltration, and strengthening territorial resilience. The results show that the incorporation of nature-based solutions significantly contributes to reducing hydrological risk, promoting environmental sustainability and climate change adaptation in urban contexts.
