    Análisis de los riesgos en proyectos productivos rurales: estudio de caso del aguacate Hass en La Paz, Cesar

    This study analyzes the risks associated with the implementation of rural productive projects, using the Hass avocado crop in the municipality of La Paz, Cesar, Colombia, as a case study. The research was conducted under a qualitative and descriptive approach, applying a case study methodology based on the analysis of the Technical Project Document (DTS) and the record generated in the Adjusted General Methodology (MGA). The results show that risks are mainly concentrated in technical, financial, and organizational dimensions. The most critical risk identified is the delay in disbursements from the General Royalties System (SGR), which directly affects liquidity and project continuity. Additionally, technical risks related to pests, diseases, and irrigation system failures were identified, along with organizational risks associated with low beneficiary participation and weak institutional coordination. The study concludes that project sustainability depends on the implementation of comprehensive risk management strategies that mitigate their impact and strengthen project planning, execution, and control. Finally, the need for further quantitative analysis of risks and their application in other rural contexts is highlighted.
