Item Integración estratégica de inteligencia artificial en la gestión de proyectos organizacionales: revisión de alcance (2023–2026)- Strategic Integration of Artificial Intelligence in Organizational Project Management: A Scoping Review (2023–2026)Almanza Montañez Angel AndresThis article examines the gap between the accelerated adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and the capacity of organizations to translate that implementation into strategic outcomes within project management. Although over 85% of companies have incorporated analytical solutions, AI initiatives report failure rates exceeding 80% due to governance flaws, poor historical data quality, and misalignment with standardized frameworks. The central objective of this research is to synthesize scientific and institutional evidence published between 2023 and 2026 regarding AI applications, benefits, barriers, and risks, in order to formulate a methodological integration guidelines matrix. A qualitative approach was employed through a Scoping Review guided by the PRISMA-ScR protocol, examining a documentary corpus of literature indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, as well as reports from organizations such as the Project Management Institute (PMI), Gartner, and McKinsey. Based on the review, the identified solutions were classified within the PMBOK Guide (7th edition) performance domains, the root causes of unregulated adoption were identified using a cause-and-effect diagram, and a practical roadmap was structured. Findings suggest that performance achieved through AI depends not merely on algorithmic capabilities, but also on governance conditions, workforce competencies, and the adaptation of organizational processes.
