    This state of art is review of the literature that has been presented between the years 2008 and 2018 concerning the quality of higher education as well as the way it is applied to the Business management program in the city of Bogotá regarding the legislation. The text shows an analysis of the main factors that are inherent in the quality of higher education in Colombia, its history in the country, the role of higher education institutions, government intervention, teachers, student performance , search trends at national and global level framed in searches in Spanish and the analysis of results in Business management in the Saber Pro test elaborated by the State to measure the performance of the education in all the areas of the knowledge in the national territory.
