Item Estrategias para el desarrollo y crecimiento del sector apícola en ColombiaOrduz Barragán, Laura Vanessa; Sánchez Corredor, Beatriz Sofía; Sandoval Forero, Laura Daniela; Garcia Castiblanco, Claudia PaolaThe biodiversity that Colombia has allows it to make a sustainable use of its resources, however, there are little exploited products despite the potential for sale both in the domestic market and in international markets. This is the case of honey, which is why the research problem of this work focuses on the search for strategies and implementation of strategies that the country can implement to optimize its positioning. For its development, a descriptive methodology was used based on secondary sources, through which the main producers of honey in the world and the strategies used by them were identified. The research is based on the theory of the availability of resources and the main results are a diagnosis of the current conditions of bee production and how they can transform their working methods efficiently to achieve being among the honey export leaders in the world.Item Generación de competitividad para la empresa La Granja del Bisabuelo Emilio: ApiculturaCastro-Baron, Carlos Damian; Redondo, Andrea CarolinaThis research was born as the need to provide ideas to strengthen companies in the Colombian beekeeping sector that allow them to create competitive advantages and thus prepare to compete in international markets, through the implementation of tools to help improve that competitiveness. Thus, as from the analysis of the value chain of the company La Granja del Bisabuelo Emilio, a peasant company dedicated to beekeeping production, we sought to define those strategies that were most relevant for the generation of competitiveness, finding in its marketing and promotion model, the space to develop and implement such strategies, taking into account that the programs launched by the state to promote the sector are focused on the efficient management of production, without taking into account that 90% of Colombian beekeepers are peasants who have the training to take their products and market them.
