    Propuesta de mejora en la gestión de residuos de la empresa Luna Hermanos Ltda de la ciudad de Albania La Guajira 2026

    The proposed improvements to waste management at Luna Hermanos Ltda. aim to enhance environmental performance and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). An organizational assessment revealed weaknesses in source separation, labeling, record keeping, and hazardous waste management, particularly within the administrative area. While the company has made operational progress, such as the partial use of color-coding and temporary storage, deficiencies remain in process standardization, document control, and staff training. Therefore, a comprehensive waste management program aligned with current regulations is proposed. This program will focus on improving waste classification, signage, hazardous waste control, record-keeping, and strengthening an environmental culture. The objectives of this initiative are to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risks, and promote continuous improvement and business sustainability.
