La parentalidad en el cine documental animado contemporáneo

The main objective of the document is to identify the aesthetic, technical and narrative characteristics of contemporary animated documentary to use them in a short animated documentary on the theme of parenting. To carry out this, the appearance of the animated documentary and its milestones in the history of cinema were identified to know its origin and the most representative works of this genre in its passage through the decades. The concepts of the documentary were defined based on secondary sources of information, taking Bill Nichols as the main reference. The types of parenting that exist from Colombian society were determined, information provided by the National Planning Department (DNP) and from the book The invisible challenges of being a mother or father among other study texts of the Colombian family, determining the types of parenting that exist and expose one or more in the making of the animated documentary. All this research is done to make an animated documentary short film based on the aesthetic, technical and narrative tools established in the research together with the types of parenting of the Colombian family chosen from case studies selected as main characters of the history.

Our research work makes an approximation to the direction of actors in Colombia, emphasizing the development of the management of natural actors and the application of it in a fiction short film. To make the investigation clear We will expose through an approach to the history of Colombian cinema, highlighting the way in which certain types of action appear. Then there will be a review of the concepts which are useful for the process of directing actors. And finally it will be presented a reflection on the direction of actors with the aim of analyzing how this was process in our Instant short film to finally define if it is possible to create a stakeholder management strategy to serve as a guide for future interested filmmakers in the field of natural acting.
La hibridación en el cine contemporáneo de Colombia

The present investigation develops the concept of hybridization in cinema, understanding the historical, narrative and aesthetic impact that this trend has on cinematography. To level we can identify that it is a very substantial resource at the time of questioning the cinematographic language, since it has been used many times for the creation of speeches political, economic and social issues that break boundaries between genres and formats, mainly between fiction and documentary. Hybridization understood as a resource of cinema, research deepens on its definition at present, it is then defined that this term is part of postmodernism as a discourse that has the ability to reinvent the canons of contemporary production by joining formats, genres and styles in the same film. In the cinema of Colombia, you can contemplate several authors and works that are part of this definition of Hybridization, films like A paper tiger, Carne and Pariente, are examples of which we We support to make an analysis and locate the cinematographic hybridization in our country.

The following document develops a search and conceptual description of children's cinema, cinema with children and the historical landmarks that include this characteristic in their form. Likewise, it enunciates various techniques for directing actors that allow to devise a structure on children's acting training and the possible applicability in the short film Con los pies de tierra. The methodology applies the concepts compiled about the direction of actors and the construction of child characters together with what is proposed in A proposal for comprehensive cinematographic analysis, as an analysis method for cinematographic works, segmented into three study components; method that is applied in two audiovisual works: Tú lo mataste and Detrás de la ciudad. The research and its application show the need to expand the theorization on the preparation of child actors and how inexperience in a production like Con los pies de tierra raises unexpected and unwanted situations that are affected by all the artistic departments of the production.

Audiovisual creation has been evolving, innovating, and integrating into new ways of telling stories, proof of this is the convergence in new and traditional media, from this process the term transmedia appears, in this research a concrete definition of everything that encompasses the transmediatic phenomenon and the different tools in the expansion of stories will be given. To thoroughly analyze these elements, the research takes as a basis of analysis the web series: Cuentos de Viejos Dematei M (2013), Campo Justo Raigoza M (2015) and Tonada al Viento Posada S (2020), in order to apply them in the development of a transmedia web series.
Modelos de financiación usados por productores en largometrajes colombianos contemporáneos: un estudio de caso

The case study will be the main tool to achieve the results of documenting and generating a funding model for a university film project. This in order to relate business to film, and reflect on how funding generates an impact on the Colombian film industry.

This investigation born from the desire to know and understand the music videos for use the information obtained throughout the documente and to be able to create an audiovisual piece with this features, to enhance it thanks to the intrinsic components of animation. To do this, it takes four reference videoclips to make an in-depth analysis of the construction of all of them, both in the used technique for their visual esthetics, as the development of its own narrative. Based on the knowledge gained from the investigation, the production team is going to focus on the execution of the music video named Twenty Four, which will make use of 2D and 3D animation techniques for its visual creation based on the representation of the life of the artist Luke MacRoberts into the principal character from this history and the evolution of this one through the events of the same one.

The objective of this research is to analyze the difficulties of childhood from three cinematographic references, as a basis for the 3D animated short film known as Elkin, which aims to represent a child of limited resources, who finds a way to get ahead with his mother, from whom he inherits the ability of resilience and understanding of how to do things well in life. At the same time, the script rescues important concepts such as childhood and how it is affected by certain characteristics of his environment, as well as particularities from various technical aspects of the production in light of the chosen Latin American films and short films that in the end will feed Elkin's story. The main objective of the text is to establish an intersemiotic translation model applicable to short and long-term cinematographic projects that have oral testimonies as a starting point and wish to take them to the film. In order to carry out this process, theories of analysis of both the story and the intersemiotic translation were identified; that were applied to creative processes already carried out such as Rubén Mendoza Tierra's films in the Language and Silvio's notebooks and in the process of creating the short film Pigs. This structuring defines an analytical and information compilation of those who provide their life or testimony and from this it is possible to understand the process of representation of reality, understanding that the translations of systems do not generate a fidelity of the story on the screen, but allow to maintain From the symbols, icons and signs similarities with the collected testimony.
Arquitectura de los sueños: análisis y deconstrucción del montaje en secuencias oníricas

The problem of the exercise of assembling dream sequences without having a guide or manual, is the basis that serves to research to find resources, characteristics and elements that share dream sequences chosen from the films: Sherlock Jr. (Buster Keaton, 1924), Jacob's ladder (Adrian Lyne, 1990) and Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (Michel Gondry, 2004), based on the analysis obtained from the text " Film analysis: A comprehensive methodological approach” by Aristizabal and Pinilla in conjunction with the texts "the deaths of Colombian cinema" by Oswaldo Osorio and "the cinematographic montage" by Joan Marimón, which is reflected in the creation of a technical orientation framework, the content of which can be applied in any audiovisual sequence with dreamlike or dreamlike characteristics. Taking the adaptation of this framework as an example, the university short film Ópera prima, will be the starting point for a reflection on the practical creation of montage supported by a text.

The present investigation delves into the concept of romantic criminal related in turn to rituality within criminal fiction. For this, the Asian filmography of countries such as Japan, Korea and Hong Kong is taken as a starting point, thus establishing parallels between the crime fiction of these countries and the audiovisual product to be developed. On the other hand, we delve into the ritual dynamics found within Asian criminal cinema, thus analyzing the connection between crime, devotion, rituality and the profile of the romantic criminal. All of the above analyzed from the dissection of the black genre.

The purpose of this research is to describe the principles and aesthetic characteristics of Nadaísmo, a movement created in Colombia in the 60's, where it is revealed what it consists of and how it can be applied to the making of a poetic documentary, in both cases. avant-garde artistic movements, which seek to break with the established and/or traditional standards of the context in which they are located, for this a series of cinematographic analyzes were carried out on three non-fiction films; Tren de sombras (Guerin, 1997), María (Grau, 1966) and Paraíso (Guerrero, 2006), in order to study and learn about their cinematographic and thematic narrative characteristics, which will be interpreted and used in the short A Wrong Man , which manages to demonstrate in the first place, how both are born from the concerns and doubts of being and the way in which it is perceived from the complexities of making unusual artistic content and how art ends up being a reality-transforming tool that represents these postures in the spectators.

The main objective of the present monograph, is to design a guide for the construction of fictitious characters who are suffering of port-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), based on the symptoms presented in The Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, DSM-5, fifth edition, by the American Society of Psychiatry. Henceforth, we conducted a thorough investigation on the history and exploration of PTSD-related topics through cinema in their entanglement and social reflection of the Colombian armed conflict, in order to better analyze the different cinematic components of the characters in Colombian movies such as: Satanas—Eliseo—La Sombra del Caminante—el Silletero—y El Paramo—Ponce y Cortes. Which as a result, yielded different character-related degrees of PTSD. Therefore, the guide is used and applied to our short film, Gatillo, and main character, Ismael.

In the present study, the positioning of an audiovisual company is evaluated through an entertainment product in a local market such as Bogotá, through a series of interviews carried out to two of the most influential creative content producers in the country. The characteristics of administrative, creative type, the advantages and disadvantages of production are examined according to the contents of each company, be cinema, advertising or video clips. The analysis data suggest that each company has its own entrepreneurship career according to their needs and possibilities, presented the financial bases and the quality of the content created as reference items to be effective in penetrating the markets. Specific results of the analysis are proposed and validated as effective production routes for cultural and creative entrepreneurship.

This degree work aims to find a way to stereotype the people who live or work in the street through the color of the characters and the cinematography, based on a film that is a reference of the Colombian cinema and using the method of Análisis Cinematográfico Integral, to identify the aspects that are important when we face the challenge of how to characterize these characters. Once we finished the analysis, we will apply it to our short film La Calle Octava.
Análisis contextual de la obra cinematográfica de Franco Lolli y su relevancia dentro de la historiografía del cine colombiano.

The objective of this document is to carry out a contextual analysis of the work of the Colombian filmmaker Franco Lolli, in order to locate his work and artistic vision in the historiography of national cinema, for this, in principle, extensive documentation is developed on Colombian cinema and its most recurrent themes throughout its cinematographic history, likewise, analyze the relevance of the term “auteur cinema” in the local context and the principle of self-referentiality, since they are factors that must be taken into account when to analyze an author like Franco, intimate and personal. From this, the study of the different canons, narrative and stylistic classifications that Colombian critics and theorists have dared to launch will be carried out. Finally understand his role and his particular style within the new narratives of Colombian cinema deeply intimate with his creator; with characteristics typical of an auteur cinema, which are evidently reflected through its deepening of characters; the importance that this author has had in terms of the propulsion of Colombian narratives, from other points of view, and how his personal style is located as a unique voice within the historiography of Colombian cinema.
El naturalismo y el realismo como estéticas en la fotografía cinematográfica del cine colombiano contemporáneo (proyecto de investigación del cortometraje “Tierra de colores”)

The final objective of this research is to identify and explain the characteristics of naturalism and realism within the cinema through the visual analysis of a specific selection of Colombian films. To achieve this, a brief recount of the two artistic concepts must be made, so that their appearance in the history of the arts, their characteristics and the integration of these currents in the cinematographic trade is reviewed. As a result we obtain a series of particularities in the audiovisual realization that are based on naturalism and realism, these particularities are subsequently used as a kind of tools to carry out the analysis of the selected films. Finally, once the analysis is done, we want to propose a series of guidelines that facilitate the creation of a visual aesthetic in cinematographic photography of any audiovisual product that wants to establish its visual style based on the two artistic concepts that are the focus of the investigation.
