Item Propuesta de mejora en la gestión de residuos de la empresa Luna Hermanos Ltda de la ciudad de Albania La Guajira 2026Zabaleta Bolívar Viviana Patricia; Bueno Castro Diana DerlyThe proposal to improve and optimize waste management at Luna Hermanos Ltda. aims to enhance environmental performance and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). The organizational diagnosis revealed weaknesses in waste segregation at the source, labeling, record control, and hazardous waste (RESPEL) management, particularly in the administrative area. Although the company shows operational progress, such as the partial use of color-coded systems and temporary storage, there are still deficiencies in process standardization, documentation control, and staff training. In response, the implementation of a comprehensive waste management program aligned with current regulations is proposed. This program includes improvements in waste classification, proper labeling, hazardous waste control, monitoring through record-keeping, and strengthening environmental awareness. This initiative aims to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risks, and promote continuous improvement and business sustainabilityItem Propuesta de un Programa de Gestión del Riesgo Químico para la Empresa UT Infraestructura FluvialMestizo Caro Michell Yesid; Ramírez Morales Luz Yessenia; Bueno Castro Diana DerlyUT Infraestructura Fluvial is a civil works company whose operations at the Victoria Regia pier, located in Leticia, Amazonas, permanently expose its 25 workers to liquid fuels, welding fumes, anticorrosive paints, solvents, and compressed gases. Based on this context, and considering the background of a chemical-related workplace accident that occurred in 2025, the need for a structured technical intervention to address chemical risk was identified. This intervention was based on a diagnosis whose results revealed critical gaps in environmental monitoring, the hierarchy of controls, and specialized preventive culture. To address these gaps, the Chemical Risk Management Program was developed, structured into five components aligned with the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle, with defined activities, responsibilities, indicators, and goals. As a dissemination tool, a socialization booklet was prepared for all workers, in compliance with Decree 1072 of 2015, Decree 1496 of 2018, and Resolution 0773 of 2021.
