Abstract
This research comes out of the need to observe the
health-disease-care process beyond a positivist logic,
in which it is necessary to recognize the sociocultural
realities of the environment in order to approach the
reality of each individual so as to understand the
logics and strategies used to improve the health
conditions of the population. Health promotion
plays a fundamental role in improving health
conditions and quality of life of the population, which
has as central axis educated human beings. In this
respect, the objective was to characterize the
pedagogical and humanizing elements that are the
base of the educational experiences in health
promotion in the elderly in Bogotá.
Description
Esta investigación parte de la necesidad de ver el
proceso salud-enfermedad-atención más allá de una
lógica positivista, en el que es necesario reconocer las
realidades socioculturales del entorno para acercarse
a la realidad del hombre y así entender las lógicas y
estrategias que se utilizan para mejorar las
condiciones de salud de la población. La promoción
de la salud juega un papel fundamental para mejorar
las condiciones de salud y la calidad de vida de la
población, cuyo eje central el ser humano que se
educa. En ese sentido, el objetivo fue caracterizar los
elementos pedagógicos y humanizantes que están
en la base de las experiencias educativas en
promoción de la salud en adultos mayores en
Bogotá.
