Abstract
This research is contextualized within the economic and social sciences, based on the analysis of the relations between geopolitical factors, integrating elements of the world economy and political relations to understand how the rupture of diplomatic relations between Colombia and Israel affects export flows. For the purpose, a methodology will be used to examine the transition from the trade surplus stage brought by the Free Tratade Agreement (FTA), which reached 54,2% in mining-energy exports between the years 2020-2024. This has brought uncertainty to Colombian entrepreneurs, who have implemented new strategies through marketing to the Middle East in order to adapt to the current problem and diversify markets to continue maintaining their production levels.

Esta investigación se contextualiza en las ciencias económicas y sociales, basándose en el análisis de las relaciones entre factores geopolíticos, integrando elementos de la economía mundial y de relaciones políticas para entender como la ruptura de las relaciones diplomáticas entre Colombia e Israel afectan a los flujos de la exportación. Para esto, se utilizará una metodología donde se examinarán la transición desde la etapa de superávit comercial que trajo el Tratado de Libre Comercio (TLC) donde se llegó a un alcance del 54,2% en exportaciones minero-energéticas provenientes de Colombia entre los años 2020-2024.
