Abstract
This research analyzes how housing in the center of the municipality of Funza (Cundinamarca) has responded to the sociocultural and spatial dynamics of its inhabitants, examining the patterns that have characterized its evolution. A qualitative and comparative approach is used, based on theoretical references such as the design patterns defined by Christopher Alexander, Sou Fujimoto's concept of corners, and the role of light in architectural configuration. It also proposes a conceptual parallel with architectural scenography, understood as the staging of everyday living. The objective is to identify how these principles are manifested in the homes of Funza's historic center and how they influence their organization, functionality, and adaptability over time.

Esta investigación analiza cómo la vivienda en el centro del municipio de Funza (Cundinamarca) ha respondido a las dinámicas socioculturales y espaciales de sus habitantes, examinando los patrones . Se emplea un enfoque cualitativo y comparativo con base en referentes sociales como los patrones de diseño definidos por Christopher Alexander, la concepción de rincones de Sou Fujimoto y el papel de la luz en la configuración arquitectónica. Asimismo, se plantea un paralelo conceptual con la escenografía arquitectónica, entendida como la puesta en escena del habitar cotidiano. El objetivo es identificar de qué forma estos principios se manifiestan en las viviendas del centro histórico de Funza y cómo influyen en su organización, funcionalidad y adaptabilidad a lo largo del tiempo.
