    Propuesta agroecoturística bajo el análisis y estudio de las cinco fincas evaluadas ubicadas en San Sebastián de Mariquita, Tolima

    The researcher of this research found that in Colombia there are policies aimed at the tourism sector in order to promote development in agricultural areas of the country, but these policies have prevented its proper functioning because it does not deepen the problems of the target population. The aforementioned has evidenced disarticulation between government entities and the rural population, which has produced the need to create a strengthening strategy for farmers in San Sebastián de Mariquita, Tolima, thus making agroecotourism take the leading role in a high level of productive mobility. , economic, social and human. The main objective of this project is the elaboration of an agro-ecotourism product in the municipality of San Sebastián de Mariquita, seeking as a result that the receiving community through it can generate additional economic income to their daily activities. Due to the agricultural wealth of the municipality, agro-ecotourism is taken as the key factor of the project. For this reason, through the creation of an agro-tourism product, the potential of the tourism sector within the municipality is sought, and San Sebastián de Mariquita is positioned as the first line of tourism activity in the department of Tolima.

    This research was developed with the purpose of compiling as much information as possible related to the characteristics, way of life, preferences and customs of Muslims as hotel consumers. With this process it was possible to obtain authentic and recent information which allowed establishing the potential of this community in relation to its consumption of hotel services. According to this, the most influential and determinant fact in the current hotel industry in Bogotá Colombia were identified and this activity that allowed to structure the current research that makes a commitment to strengthening to the provision of housing services through knowledge and detailed analysis of the needs of this potential consumer.
