The sector of Painting in Bogota is highly competitive, for this reason Continental de Pinturas Ltda., Has been distributing its products for 34 years, over time it has been trying to incorporate itself in the market seeking to position itself, having as a priority the demands that he has the client of this socioeconomic sector, facing an inevitable need for growth for his company.

La formación a través de la lúdica en el diseño de áreas de trabajo

Prior to the realization of a plant distribution, the industrial engineer must master the concepts and formulas to determine the appropriate spaces in each of the machines or jobs. These calculations should take into account: the work area - the area where the worker performs his work -, the access areas - logs or areas where the operators enter or leave the work area -, the storage areas of the production - area where at the end of the production process the inventory is stored as it is produced - and the enlistment areas - which are the areas where, in some cases, it is necessary to prepare a raw material for the workplace - . The ludic will allow the student to apply these concepts through a theoretical-practical methodology, starting from a machine tool (physical) to scale, take the main dimensions, apply the formulas of the different surfaces that interact with the workers and find a total area suitable for each machine. Once the calculation is done by machine, adding all the areas, can be calculated the total area of a workplace a department, a section or an industrial plant.
Propuesta basada en las 5s en la microempresa Extragranos del campo SAS, como determinante de un incremento en la rentabilidad

The work was carried out with the intention of developing a proposal for improvement in the company Extragranos del campo S.A.S. which presents a deficit in its profitability with the passage of time, the proposal followed specific steps which were the collection of comparative information by the sector to understand the situation that had been presented with respect to the entities selling products of massive consuming and be able to compare it with that presented in Extragranos, the next thing that took place was the identification of the problems that the company faces which reduce their annual profits. Once the problems that overwhelm the company were identified, we proceeded to select one of them to be the focus of the investigation, in our case it was the current order presented in the warehouse and the two mini markets, in order to face this problem it was decided use the tool of the 5s with a complement in retail management to be able to give an optimal solution to the problem of profitability, the pertinent inquiries were carried out to be able to offer a proposal for the implementation of the 5s, which in the case of to be implemented will generate a benefit in terms of costs which, when calculated annually, generate a considerable value that the company could save and at the same time increase its profits.
Propuesta de gestión para el mejoramiento de la distribución en el área de ensamble del regulador para gas R203 de la empresa metalmecánica Industrias Humcar S.A.S

This work contributes to a proposal for improvement in the assembly area for the most representative regulator for Industries Humcar S.A.S. which is R203, it was made based on the current area. The company is dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of accessories for gas which is located in the city of Bogotá and distributes nationally and internationally. In the first part, the identification of the problem is shown, which consists in the company having to produce parts at a low cost in order to win tenders, therefore, if it does not, it can lose the market. Then an analysis of the distribution factors in the plant in the assembly area, a study of time, material path, and 5S study was performed. When studying the situation it is proposed to make a U-cell in such a way that unnecessary records of the material within the assembly area are reduced, also proposing an adequate 5s, strategies to reduce the bottlenecks and specifically a JIT in order to have a continuous, synchronized and balanced flow.

The project aims to evaluate the manufacturing system of One Piece Smart toilets of the company Corona SAS in the Madrid Cundinamarca plant, by identifying, analyzing and optimizing activities that generate waste or do not add value in the production process, such as unnecessary movements, inadequate times, costs or material, where all the improvements that can be made both to the process and to the health and safety of the operator are evidenced, using tools from the Lean Manufacturing philosophy that allow to identify, control and redesign the production activities seeking continuous improvement and measurement of work methods that allow the analysis of causes and effects of the current system.

Nómada C.I Ltda. Company is located in Bogota´ south region in first on May avenue, it ‘score is the manufacturing, merchandising and distribution of security items in heights and extreme sports as well, besides of providing training. The development of this proposal is having an improvement in the occupational safety and health system that the Company initially had; by visiting it we identified the activities per occupation with the main purpose of identifying the risks that the workers were exposed to. Achieve by doing an evaluation and risks matrix; with that, changing measures will be provided after and documented actions in order to minimize those, therefore maintain and protect the integrity of the employees with the support of Kaizen and lean manufacturing tools at the same time.

Currently due to climatic changes due to high pollution, one of the challenges of engineering is to provide a solution to environmental problems, on the other hand pets are participants in the same reality, so to meet the needs of these and their owners, thinking about solving a main problem of canine care as it is the lack of attention is that this project focused on the creation of recreational parks for pets (dogs) made from reusable products, mostly plastic materials for its long decomposition process. The accomplishment of the attractions achieves the awareness of the people in the subjects of recycling and care of the environment by the elements used in their manufacture, because they give a different and unique aspect.
