    Análisis competitivo del comercio cosmético-industrial colombiano en la Alianza del Pacífico

    El presente capítulo busca identificar el tipo de comercio (intraindustrial o interindustrial) que tuvo Colombia con respecto a los países miembros de la Alianza del Pacífico (México, Chile y Perú) en los años 2010 a 2017. Lo anterior posibilitó exponer la pregunta a la cual aspira dar respuesta: ¿Qué tipo de comercio existió en el sector cosmético, subsector maquillaje (preparaciones para el maquillaje de ojos) colombiano en el marco de la Alianza del Pacífico durante los años 2010 a 2017? Se desarrolló un estudio al sector cosmético colombiano con el objetivo de saber cómo fueron las tendencias, después se identificaron las empresas más destacadas para reconocer sus niveles de exportaciones e importaciones, con el fin de establecer la balanza comercial, para después, utilizar el índice Grubel_Lloyd (IGL) y determinar el tipo de comercio que hubo entre Colombia y la Alianza del Pacifico para el producto y periodo de tiempo estudiado. El tipo de comercio que generó Colombia con los países miembros de la Alianza del Pacífico gracias al IGL en los años 2010 a 2017, fue de carácter intraindustrial, con un IGL igual a 0,38. El suceso que acercó el comercio hacia lo interindustrial fueron los resultados obtenidos por el IGL entre Colombia y Chile, en donde se destacan los años 2010, 2013 y 2014, donde no hubo importaciones a nuestro país, dando como resultado 0 en el IGL.

    El cacao: oportunidad productiva y comercial en el escenario del posconflicto colombiano

    With the signing of the peace agreement in Colombia, the government’s efforts move from reform to the implementation of multiple programs and projects that consolidate long-term opportunities for the victims of the armed conflict. In this scenario, the strengthening of the agricultural sector and diversification of the export portfolio are expanded in order to encourage territorial development. Considering this situation, this study analyzes the behavior in the production and foreign trade of Colombian cocoa, allowing the reader to identify the comparative advantage of this product through the Index Revealed Comparative Advantage (rca Index) proposed by Vollrath. Finally, the analysis identifies the comparative advantage, the prioritization zones by departments for the restitution of illicit crops according to the productive conditions and the countries with the greatest potential for importing cocoa

    Oportunidades para la investigación contable en Colombia

    The purpose of this paper is to propose guidelines for future accounting research that allow Colombian researchers to publish their work in international journals indexed in Scopus. For this, we studied three sub-fields of accounting: auditing, accounting education, and taxation. In all these cases, we identified the current status of the discussions, the research questions that remain open, the characteristics of the papers published, the approaches and methods used, and the opportunities for research conducted in emerging economies. Besides proposing studies in these three fields, we present sources where further thematic and methodological details can be found.
