Abstract
The objective of the degree project is the restructuring of the LAN network design of the company A&CI S.A.S., the current state of the network was identified through a survey of information, in order to perform an analysis of the current state of the network at the hardware level and configuration of network equipment, which allows to know the causes of the problems presented at the level of internet connectivity and quality of service at the level of speed and availability of the network. The restructuring of the design was based on the current Colombian regulations for the design of LAN networks, with this restructuring it is sought that the company can ensure connectivity and quality of internet service for all its employees. For this purpose, the company A&CI SAS will be proposed a more structured design of its LAN network based on the current design identified in the information survey, incorporating more updated and reliable technologies such as the structuring through VLAN's to divide the traffic between networks and make the information more secure and speed up the data traffic.

El proyecto de grado plantea como objetivo la restructuración del diseño de la red LAN de la empresa A&CI S.A.S, se identificó el estado actual de la red mediante un levantamiento de información, con el fin de realizar un análisis del estado actual de la red a nivel de hardware y configuración de equipos de red, que permita saber las causas de los inconvenientes presentados a nivel de conectividad a internet y calidad del servicio a nivel de velocidad y disponibilidad de la red. La restructuración del diseño fue basada en la normatividad colombiana vigente para el diseño de redes LAN, con esta restructuración se busca que la empresa pueda garantizar la conectividad y calidad del servicio a internet para todos sus colaboradores. Para esto se planteará a la empresa A&CI SAS un diseño más estructurado de su red LAN en base al diseño actual identificado en el levantamiento de información, incorporando tecnologías más actualizadas y confiables como la estructuración mediante VLAN's para dividir el tráfico entre redes y hacer más segura la información y agilizar el tráfico de datos.
