Abstract

This professional internship was conducted in the company metálicas y estructuras SAS. located in the city of Bogota in the Carrera 13 C No. 56 - 53 south, is dedicated to the production and marketing of street furniture. The internship is developed in the operational area of the company, to determine the points to improve, a diagnostic process is performed which results in the lack of administrative tools in the area, to counteract and mitigate the problem, function manuals are made to generate control, limitations and responsibilities of employees while the company continues to formalize and grow in the sector. For the creation of the function manuals a qualitative method was used, where interviews and non-participatory observation were conducted with employees and managers. As a result of the process in the operative area, the company metálicas y estructuras SAS., must implement tools such as the function manuals that facilitate the control and direction of the processes in order to have growth in the area as well as in the company.
