| dc.description | This paper reviews the problem of analogies and differences between prison and school, a heated topic since the 80s within the Colombian Pedagogical Movement, in the light of specific appropriations of Michel Foucault's book Discipline and Punish. The second part of this text considers the Foucauldian thesis on the "failure of the prison" ("failure is part of the functioning of the disciplinary device"). Finally, it proposes to analyze this "failure" in the case of the modern school, based on analyses developed within the framework of the work of the Group for the History of Pedagogical Practice in Colombia. | en |
| dc.description | El artículo recorre el problema de las analogías y diferencias entre la prisión y la escuela, un tema agitado desde la década de 1980 en el seno del Movimiento Pedagógico Colombiano, a la luz de ciertas apropiaciones del libro Vigilar y castigar de Michel Foucault. En la segunda parte el texto recoge la tesis foucaultiana sobre el “fracaso de la prisión” (“el fracaso hace parte del funcionamiento del dispositivo disciplinario”) y propone analizar este “fracaso” en el caso de la escuela moderna, a partir de análisis desarrollados en el marco de los trabajos del Grupo de Historia de la Práctica Pedagógica en Colombia. | es |
