Based on a contemporary approach to urban design, it proposes the use of ephemeral urban scenography as a means of revitalizing and reinterpreting the use of collective space. Through the programming of multiple activities, they offer new aesthetic perceptions that dialogue with the historical and cultural value of the environment. These interventions aim for flexibility, seeking to integrate themselves while respecting the existing heritage context, through the incorporation of reversible uses and temporary dynamics that activate the collective space and encourage citizen appropriation, without altering the historical image. It starts with a macro-scale analysis, in which places with potential for intervention are identified, and then moves on to a micro-scale study that detects the opportunities of each current public space, identifying its characteristics and conditions. Based on this reading, strategies are developed for implementation based on the urban experience that strengthen everyday, cultural, and tourist dynamics. Thus, the project establishes a new urban narrative in which heritage and the contemporary coexist.
