| dc.description | El objetivo de este documento es mostrar las oportunidades que tiene la industria textil colombiana derivada de la relación comercial y los resultados de comercio interindustrial e intraindustrial en el marco del TLC entre Colombia y Canadá. Con este fin, la pregunta de investigación es la siguiente: ¿Qué oportunidades comerciales tiene el sector textil colombiano en marco del TLC con Canadá? Para llevar a cabo dicho objetivo, se identificaron las condiciones de producción, valor agregado y consumo intermedio de estas actividades, se presenta un análisis comercial entre ambos países y se calcula el Índice de Grubel & Lloyd. El enfoque metodológico de esta investigación es mixto, donde los datos cualitativos respaldan el análisis de datos cuantitativo. Se concluyó que en Colombia el comercio hacia Canadá, en lo que refiere a la industria textil se caracteriza por ser de tipo interindustrial como se evidencio en los resultados de los años 2014 - 2018. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this document is to show the opportunities that the Colombian textile industry has derived from the commercial relationship and the results of inter- and intra-industrial trade in the framework of the FTA between Colombia and Canada. To this end, the research question is: What commercial opportunities does the Colombian textile sector have in the framework of the FTA with Canada? To carry out this objective, the production, value added and intermediate consumption conditions of these activities were identified, a trade analysis between both countries is presented and the Grubel & Lloyd Index is calculated. The methodological approach of this research is mixed, with qualitative data supporting quantitative data analysis. It was concluded that in Colombia the trade to Canada, as far as the textile industry is concerned, is characterized by being of an inter-industrial type as evidenced in the results for the years 2014 - 2018. | es_ES |
