El objetivo central del plan de desarrollo integral es reconocer cada una de las
morfotipologias presentes en el eje principal de comercio de Kennedy y así mismo
distinguir los diferentes procesos históricos que dieron origen a los planteamientos urbanos
establecidos, para de esta manera determinar la mejor forma de intervención del espacio
público fijando al peatón como principal actor de esta zona y caracterizando los espacios
de acuerdo a sus actividades y usos de suelo teniendo en cuenta los principales medios de
transporte masivo y los equipamientos como principales ejes y puntos articuladores de
dinámicas urbanas dentro del eje comercial.
