This research document studies the relationship between the variables which are the structure
and the void, including the hotel and tourism infrastructure in the town of Usme in the city of
Bogotá. Based on the types of voids and supporting structure, the types of voids and supporting
structure will be evaluated. In this research, the methodology used was pre-experimental and
was divided into 3 stages which are application, comparison and collection of information. In
stage one, the hotel references are analyzed through notation, the second stage is carried out
through some references. which are passed through some layers by the architect Leupen to
identify the variables void and structure, as a third stage a mapping was carried out to identify
the different voids in the town of Usme and where there is more agglomeration of people.
