These changes have been deeply shaped by the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, a historic event that drastically altered such practices and posed numerous challenges for the educational community, especially for teachers. This context has created the need for rigorous monitoring and continuous reflection on teaching practices in higher education. This research aims to explore and analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the teaching practices of professors from the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education at Uniagustiniana over the past seven years. A review of multiple research articles was conducted, focusing on the transformations of teaching work in aspects such as teaching practices, university didactics, and emerging categories like ICT-mediated didactics and pedagogical innovation. Using a qualitative, descriptive approach, research instruments were developed to characterize teaching practices, generational traits, and the digital competencies that educators develop through their teaching experiences. These analyses and findings aim to contribute to the reflection on teaching practices, the improvement of educational quality, and the effective use of technological resources in higher education.
