Item Propuesta pedagógica para la enseñanza de la educación financiera, a través de e-learning dirigido a la empresa Asociación de Recicladores Reciclando por Colombia ESP ubicada en la ciudad de BogotáConde-Lara, Jefersson; Florez-Muñoz, Jenny Viviana; Rosso-Jaimes, Miguel AntonioToday, financial education has established itself as an essential tool to promote people's economic well-being. Its importance is particularly relevant in the most vulnerable population, since knowledge about money management and an understanding of basic financial concepts can significantly influence their personal and professional future. This study focuses on the workers of the company Asociación de Recicladores Reciclando por Colombia ESP located in the city of Bogotá, who face key financial decisions on a daily basis that can have a lasting impact, such as the use of credit, savings or the management of daily expenses. In this context, the purpose of this research is to design a pedagogical proposal that can be adapted to facilitate teaching and learning processes in financial education, aimed at workers in the recycling sector in vulnerable situations. It also seeks to identify strategies that contribute to improving their economic stability and promoting a responsible financial culture. To contextualize the study, a review of the existing theoretical contributions was used, which allow us to identify the importance of financial education. As Raccanello & Herrera (2014) point out, greater financial education allows for better choices in investment, savings and debt, positively influencing quality of life. For this reason, it is important to highlight the Colombian case, as Ortega (2022) points out, the concept of financial education is relatively recent. Only from the twenty-first century onwards does it begin to have a more systematic development, driven by the need to confront the low levels of financial knowledge in the population, low banking penetration and irresponsible indebtedness. For this reason, it has been accompanied by public policies, strategic plans and alliances with the private sector, although there is still a long way to go to ensure its effective and equitable implementation in all sectors of society. This allows us to infer that there are still important challenges in the teaching and learning of financial education. From a practical perspective, formal financial education in Colombia faces multiple challenges. According to the OECD (2024), more than half of the population lacks basic financial knowledge, such as managing credit, calculating interest rates, or properly managing their personal finances. This lack of training is reflected in financial behaviors that limit economic development, evidenced by low levels of savings and high levels of indebtedness. The objective of this preliminary project is to design a pedagogical proposal for the teaching of financial education, mediated by technological resources, which contributes to the limited social inclusion of the workers of the company Association of Recyclers Recycling for Colombia ESP, located in the city of Bogotá. Since it is part of a small segment of the population, characterized by conditions of vulnerability associated with factors such as educational level and socioeconomic status. The present research adopted a qualitative approach, focused on the deep understanding of the experiences and perceptions of the participants. As a method, the case study is used, taking into account that it is a valuable research tool and its greatest strength is that through it the behavior of the people who participate in the phenomenon studied can be measured and recorded, and the data obtained can come from various sources. The techniques used correspond to a survey applied directly to the target group and a semi-structured interview, these techniques together allow us to ask open questions, which the participant can solve in their own words and this allows us to develop greater analysis and depth in the study. The structure of the preliminary draft consists of several chapters. In an initial stage, the problem question and the objectives are highlighted, a frame of reference in which the theoretical and conceptual are developed, with special emphasis on the importance of financial education and recognizing some statistics that accompany the need for teaching and learning it. The state of the art is then made known in which the concept is developed at a global, regional and local level is contextualized. Likewise, the research methodology is developed, mentioning the approach and the instruments used. Finally, the annexes and bibliographic references are listed. Through this research, the aim is not only to contribute to the work environment of the target company, but also to the entire community that is interested in learning about financial education.
