Importancia de los factores culturales que influyen en los procesos de negociación comercial entre Colombia y Corea del Sur
    Zuluaga-Rueda, Lesly-Daniela; Ospina-Martínez, Oswaldo
This research focuses on the influence that culture has on international negotiations, focusing on South Korea and Colombia, taking into account that many times, when doing business between companies with different cultural backgrounds, misunderstandings will arise that will affect the relationship between the two parties, therefore, the values and principles of the South Korean culture are analyzed, and therefore how to use them at the negotiating table in front of the interlocutors; in order to establish lasting relationships and thus meet the needs of both parties in a balanced way, thus generating mutual benefits. In view of the international cooperation relationship between Colombia and the Republic of Korea, it is evident the strong trade links that exist between both nations and even more so in the negotiations of the free trade agreement signed in 2013, which provided many benefits in terms of bilateral relations and the exchange of goods, thus giving the possibility of identifying which Colombian products have greater opportunity in that market; On the other hand, Colombian businessmen are provided with practical elements to negotiate with South Korean companies, such as negotiation practices and protocols to be used by businessmen and negotiators to offer their products to that market, taking into account the differences of both cultures, and thus take advantage of market opportunities, opening the doors of the Colombian economy to a strategic partner such as the Republic of Korea.
