Item Vivienda flexible para el municipio de Madrid, Cundinamarca. Configuración estructural como determinante escenográfica.Correa-Hernandez, Karen Daniela; Tellez-Organista, Maria Alejandra; Jaramillo-Acosta, Laura MarcelaThe present research covered the reconfiguration of the variable structure as a scenographic determinant for the design of a housing prototype in the municipality of Madrid, Cundinamarca; the starting argument was the confinement produced by the COVID-19 in the year 2020, which forced users to transform spaces designed only for rest, into areas for leisure, work and study. The structural and scenographic rigidity that characterizes current housing limited flexibility in the previous spaces and in turn in similar future situations. Therefore, in order to recognize the structural characteristics that determine the scenographic flexibility, the housing typologies of the municipality were identified and categorized, with which we were able to evaluate which are the structural elements that prevent the transformation of the interior spaces and the scenographies with greater collision to then contrast them with a series of national and international referents that stand out for including the concept of scenographic flexibility within their architectural development. This empirical analytical procedure, under the theoretical influence of Leupen and Rem Koolhas, allowed us to propose the architectural design of a flexible housing prototype that responds to the need for transformation and scenographic adaptability. This research process concluded that the structural systems of poured concrete, load-bearing walls and columns of small section, impede the scenographic transformation and spatial flexibility, as well as the need to implement and add complementary architectural programs such as productive use, in order to cover all the activities that a user may require.
