Item Estrategias para los Museos de la Candelaria en Bogotá: Una propuesta desde el turismo accesibleTique Florez Liced Vanesa; Suta Ramirez Valentina; Perez Ramirez PatriciaThe purpose of this research is to analyse the conditions of accessibility in the museums of La Candelaria, in order to identify the needs of visitors and potential users with disabilities, and thus to promote inclusive, meaningful and equitable cultural experiences. As a general objective, the formulation of accessibility strategies for museums in La Candelaria was considered and can be replicated in other museums in Bogotá. The La Candelaria sector was selected for its cultural relevance in Bogotá, concentrating a high offer of tourist-oriented heritage spaces and receiving a wide variety of visitors on a daily basis. The research was carried out on a quantitative basis, through the application of surveys inside and outside museums, complemented by direct observation, which gave a comprehensive view of the actual conditions of access, stay and enjoyment of the cultural offer. The results show that, although there is a positive perception of accessibility, it is at an intermediate level, reflecting significant progress, but also multiple opportunities for improvement. Physical, communicative and attitude barriers were identified, as well as the need to strengthen spatial orientation, optimize communication tools, implement systems such as braille and train staff. In conclusion, accessibility must be understood as a comprehensive process that articulates infrastructure, culture and society, ensuring inclusive experiences and the full exercise of the right to cultural participation.
