Estudio de prefactibilidad para la fabricación de material de construcción a partir de desechos plásticos para el municipio de Fusagasugá
Sierra-Sandoval, Leidy Patricia; López-Pedraza, Jose Jovany; Yepes-Gonzalez, Nelson Vladimir
The purpose of this pre-feasibility project is to determine the technical, economic, social, environmental and market viability for the installation of an ecological brick production plant with PET recycled material which is being discarded in the municipality of Fusagasugá (Cundinamarca) and so on reincorporate this waste into the value chain to the construction sector, there is currently no large-scale production of this product, which shows us an opportunity to enter the market. For the manufacture of the ecological brick (Brick PET), we ground on the Colombian Technical Standard 4026, which establishes the requirements for masonry units, this was made from cement with 36%, sand 33%, PET material 28% and water, it was characterized by its resistance to compression with an MPa of 9.4 with a Psi of 1.343,8, giving a final weight of 1.898,5 gr, complying with the requirements of the standard. The main customers will be warehouses, hardware stores and natural persons from the municipality of Fusagasugá and its surroundings, which will arrive through commercial force, the sale price of the brick will be $2.100, which compared to the competition is below its price, meeting the required quality standards. Finally, it is important to highlight the environmental impact of the project given that a highly polluting material is being used, highlighting that in the production process the brick will dry at room temperature in order to reduce CO2 emissions.
