Cabezas-Navarro, Manuel Junior; Beltran-Diaz, Tomas Santiago; Ulloa Ramos, Cristian Samir
The growth of economic sectors in Colombia is undeniable but this is due to the treaties signed the last 20 years in addition to the economic opening allowing the entry of specialized machinery to manufacture products and change pre-established construction models transforming traditional constructions to prefabricated ones, this New construction style has been well received in the countries of the region and Colombia has companies dedicated to manufacturing but it is necessary to boost exports, this work seeks to note the advantages and disadvantages of prefabricated buildings versus the traditional style. To identify the advantages and disadvantages, this work contains an analysis of how the prefabricated houses and the materials that can be used are composed, the commercial balance of the country with these products and the advantages in terms of price, production and product. For the research, a mixed type methodology with qualitative data and quantitative data was used in two phases, the first the data collection through studies or previously performed work and trade balance data and construction costs, and the second with the analysis of data collected previously through descriptions and graphs to understand the data.
