    Potencial de la comercialización de abonos orgánicos en materia de exportación desde Colombia hacia la Unión Europea

    The introduction of sustainability factors into the companies’s productive structures with the main objective of stablish a balance between the economial, social and evironmental factor, has been focusing the new production strategies in order to give a reasonable use of natural resources. In Colombia, a huge quantity of organic wastes that are result of different processes are produced daily, however, through the elaboration of organic fertilizers those organic wastes could have an efficient reutilization. The organic agricultural inputs have received a significant acceptance on the last years inside the European Union, becoming a desired product to be used in the agricultural production processes. Colombia, is a country with the capacity to produce such inputs, due to the fact that it posseses a wealth nature, and also the encouragement made by the government to this type of innovative business alternative, brings the posibility to turn organic fertilizers into a product with exportation potential, where the European Union is the destination. Therefore, by consulting the national laws, it can be clearly identified the procedure and requirements that must be met to obtain the different documents that will certify the viability of the product as an organic fertilizer. On the other hand, through the analysis of the european agricultural policy and the specific regulations for organic fertilizers, it can be recongnized that the regulation of this type of products is recent, and also, the Union is on the final stage of a harmonization process, where it is proposed to establish a generalized policy that covers all the member countries together, abolishing their individual national regulations,
