    Estrategias de competitividad para los productores de plantas medicinales en Colombia

    The research seeks strategies of competitiveness in producers in the chain of aromatic medicinal plants, condimentary and related (PAMCA) in Colombia on key issues such as the recognition, use and importance of the sector for the strengthening of this chain. Initially the National Green Business Plan (PNNV) and its relationship with the PAMCA chain, national and international panorama and SWOT analysis of the PAMCA chain are shown. Subsequently, the competitive countries in the sector are presented to identify which are their strategies that make them competitive in the aromatic plants and finally the competitiveness strategies are defined according to the situation of the country. Throughout the document, the initiative is shown to support this sector and more to its producers which, due to ignorance and lack of training, lose opportunities such as growth in their income, training to improve production, entry into the international market and lack of strategies for the recognition of the work they perform. On the other hand, green business is an opportunity for expansion, an innovation where it is feasible to do it in Colombia due to the diversity it has.
