God seduces the human being and takes him to the desert to speak to the heart. The dessert fathers were the first to live in depth this enriching spiritual experience, which centuries later the Church institutionalized through the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. This work analyzes the theological foundation of of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the conversion retreat of Marian Love Ties and the retreat of Emmaus, deepening their theology and spiritual vitality. Finally, it approaches a model of Augustinian conversion retreat starting from the theology and spiritual life of who is for the Church a perennial model of conversion.
