This article disclosures, in simple terms, some techniques to ensure that strategic planning processes of an SME and its execution are connected effectively; and at the same time, to create resilience in times of crisis, when the emphasis on results is higher and a high competitiveness is generated. The article also conceptualizes the way in which an appropriate management of portfolio requires to be adjusted to the needs and reality of the company, and specifically to be aligned with four dimensions: a proper dynamic process, a well-established strategy, a type of organization and culture, and information.
