Propuesta pedagógica que contribuya con la apropiación de la cultura turística por parte de los prestadores de servicios turísticos en el Centro histórico de La Candelaria
Resumen
La presente investigación “Propuesta pedagógica que contribuya con la apropiación de la cultura turística por parte de los prestadores de servicios turísticos en el Centro histórico de La Candelaria”, tiene como propósito mostrar el nivel de apropiación de los elementos que involucran la cultura turística por parte de los prestadores que desarrollan la actividad turística. La investigación identifica el grado de conocimiento orientado a los servicios, reconocimiento de los elementos culturales que representan la Candelaria y como estos inciden en el desarrollo del turismo. De igual forma, se describen las actitudes y comportamientos de los actores involucrados en la actividad frente a las necesidades y requerimientos de los turistas que solicitan algún tipo de ayuda; se analiza cómo estos factores pueden influir positiva o negativamente en el destino. Asimismo, se expone la percepción de los turistas respecto de cultura turística de la comunidad receptora en el Centro histórico de la Candelaria.
Para el desarrollo de la misma, se utilizaron dos metodologías; en primer lugar, el método exploratorio permitió recolectar la información pertinente para sustentar el objetivo de la investigación donde los resultados reflejan que se identifican dentro de los actores algunas debilidades con respecto a algunos conocimientos y más específicamente la cultura turística. Por otro lado, el método propositivo por el cual se estructuró la propuesta que involucra los lineamientos para la mejora del nivel de apropiación por parte de los prestadores de servicios turísticos con base en el análisis de los resultados previos.
Abstract
The present investigation "Pedagogical proposal that contributes to the appropriation of tourist culture by tourist service providers in the historic center of La Candelaria ", aims to show the level of appropriation of the elements that involving tourist culture by the providers that develop the tourist activity. The research identifies the degree of knowledge oriented to services, recognition of the cultural elements that Candelaria represents and how these affect the development of tourism. Likewise, the attitudes and behaviors of the actors involved in the activity are described in relation to the needs and requirements of tourists who request some kind of help; It is discusses how these factors can positively or negatively influence tourist destination. It also exposes the perception of tourists regarding the tourist culture of the host community in the Historic Center of La Candelaria is exposed.
For the development of this project, two methodologies were used; first, the exploratory method allowed to collect relevant information to support the objective of the research, where the results reflect that some weaknesses are identified within the actors with respect to some knowledge and more specifically the tourist culture. On the other hand, the propositive method by which the proposal was structured, which involves the guidelines for improving the level of appropriation by tourism service providers was structured based on the analysis of previous results
