Anti-imperialism as Part of the Habitus of the Colombian Communist Party

| dc.description | This paper seeks to answer how the anti-imperialist language used by the members of the Colombian Communist Party (PCC) became a habitus of itself, according to Bourdieu. In this sense, the purpose of this research is to identify how anti-imperialism was included in the language used by the members of the PCC, who turn it into a disposition to think, understand and even feel the social world. The anti-imperialist language of the PCC, which can be traced to the emergence of general inconformity in Colombia by the loss of Panama, was constituted as a habitus of the PCC by adopting a theoretical language based on Vladimir Lenin’s ideas. Anti-imperialism, then, was fundamental to the communists’ analysis on different topics. | dc.description | El presente artículo busca responder a la pregunta de cómo el lenguaje antiimperialista utilizado por los miembros del Partido Comunista Colombiano (PCC) se convirtió en un habitus, en términos bourdianos, del mismo. En ese sentido, el objetivo de la investigación es identificar la forma en que el antiimperialismo se incluyó en el lenguaje utilizado por los miembros del PCC, quienes lo convierten en una disposición a pensar, comprender e incluso sentir el mundo social. El lenguaje antiimperialista del PCC, que puede rastrearse hasta el surgimiento de inconformidad general en Colombia por la pérdida de Panamá, se constituyó como un habitus del PCC por medio de la adopción de un lenguaje teórico basado en los planteamientos de Vladimir Lenin. El antiimperialismo, entonces, fue fundamental para el análisis de los comunistas sobre diferentes temáticas. Dicha apropiación convirtió al antiimperialismo en una respuesta coherente frente al mundo social, pero también en una forma de comprenderlo. | es |
