Abstract

Cycle tourism is a different modality to carry out the application of tourism in a destination that is not very common, since tourism relates people directly to sun and beach, which is why cyclotourism is an innovative and sustainable tourism proposal for a destination, it involves certain types of activities such as sports, the use of bicycles, and the fact of tourism in one place. Its main objective is to create this cycle route in order to publicize the tourist attractions that the municipality of Nemocón - Cundinamarca has; with the foundation to encourage this type of tourism in the municipality and to make it known as a potential destination for the realization of these recreational sports activities. A study on bicycle tourism is carried out, since its inception and how it has evolved as one of the main sources to promote sustainable tourism in a destination, as well as an investigation about the municipality where the route is to be made, mainly due to its tourist attractions which are the main object of the practice of tourism, according to the activities that have to develop, and the impacts that these may generate. Finally, the creation of the route in Nemocón, with the points that will be visited, the complete itinerary that the tourist will make knowing these attractions, taking into account that it is a destination that has a large natural and cultural area where they will allow that the tourist live a unique experience
