| dc.description | In this article, we will first present what is meant by making a science out of ethics. Once this concept has been elucidated, the central question of the text is posed: Is it possible to make a science out of ethics? Later, we present a review of recent academic literature on Wittgenstein and the relationship of Wittgenstein's philosophy to ethics, intending to compare his reflection on development. Through this, we express the impossibility of making a science out of ethics, as ethics is beyond the propositional language needed to make science. Thus, we present the shortcomings of those authors who attempt to give an ethical theory. Then, by avoiding the problems associated with scientistic attempts to co-opt ethics, we explain whether doing ethics is possible after the constraints of propositional language have been removed. Finally, it is concluded that there are ways to do ethics, even if science is not one of them. | en |
| dc.description | En el presente artículo, en primera instancia, se presenta qué se entiende por hacer ciencia de la ética. Una vez aclarado este concepto, se plantea la pregunta central del texto: ¿Es posible hacer ciencia de la ética? Posteriormente, se expone un recorrido por la literatura académica reciente sobre Wittgenstein y la relación de la filosofía de este con la ética, con la intención de contrastar la reflexión que desarrollo. A través de esto, se expresa la imposibilidad de hacer ciencia de la ética, en tanto que la ética está más allá del lenguaje proposicional necesario para hacer ciencia. Así pues, se muestran las falencias presentes en aquellos autores que intentan presentar una teoría ética. Al evitar los problemas relacionados con los intentos cientificistas de cooptar la ética, se explica si hay posibilidad de hacer ética una vez despojados de las constricciones del lenguaje proposicional. Finalmente, se concluye que existen maneras de hacer ética incluso si la ciencia no es una de ellas. | es |
