dc.descriptionThe aim of this book is to make research visible among the academic and business community in Colombia. This research effort is aimed at disclosing the outcomes from three different initiatives within the field of economic and administrative sciences, selected after a very strict selection under the double-blind peer review process, where the originality of the proposal and its methodological rigor were key aspects for its consideration. The first chapter addresses the relationship between internationalization and innovation in exporting companies in the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Area, out of which the innovation impact is evidenced in the development of regional exports. The second chapter studies the behavior of departmental intra-industry trade with the United States and Latin American countries. In addition, the third chapter focuses on the importance of the development of financial competencies by business administration students and the conditions that will contribute to enhancing their future professional performance. Therefore, the Universitaria Agustiniana fosters the creation of analysis tools and new research perspectives within the field of economic and administrative studies, which will ultimately favor the understanding of the national corporate context towards an international scenario.en
dc.descriptionEste libro se pone a disposición de la comunidad académica y empresarial con el objetivo de brindar espacios para la visibilización de la investigación en Colombia. Esta obra tiene como propósito divulgar los resultados de tres investigaciones en el área de las ciencias económicas y administrativas, seleccionadas tras un estricto proceso de evaluación bajo la modalidad de “doble ciego”, en la que fueron tenidas en cuenta tanto la originalidad de la propuesta como su consistencia metodológica. El primer capítulo aborda la relación entre la internacionalización y la innovación en las empresas exportadoras del área metropolitana de Bucaramanga, frente a lo cual se identifica la incidencia de la innovación en el desarrollo de los procesos exportadores regionales. El segundo capítulo analiza el comportamiento del comercio intraindustrial departamental con Estados Unidos y Latinoamérica. Por último, el tercer capítulo estudia la importancia del desarrollo de competencias financieras por parte de estudiantes de administración de empresas, así como las condiciones que permiten mejorar su desempeño. De esta forma, la Universitaria Agustiniana contribuye a la generación de herramientas de análisis y de nuevas perspectivas de investigación en el área, que favorecen la comprensión del contexto empresarial nacional con miras a una proyección internacional.es
