dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo es una propuesta que busca contribuir al desarrollo agroturístico de las comunidades cacaoteras del municipio de San Vicente de Chucurí, considerando que esta tipología de actividad turística ha representado para las comunidades donde se ejecuta una fuente de desarrollo económico, ambiental y cultural, que aunada al turismo comunitario como una alternativa para la región. Es importante resaltar a Santander y especialmente al municipio como el mayor productor de cacao en el país, considerándolo por esto la capital cacaotera gracias a su ubicación, ya que, se encuentra una zona naturalmente rica favoreciendo así la actividad turística. Asimismo, este trabajo busca darle una apreciación cultural al cultivo mediante el turismo, generando una apropiación y orgullo para sus habitantes, y así iniciar un completo desarrollo para la comunidad. El desarrollo de la investigación se hizo de mano de la comunidad, lo que facilito entender las necesidades, falencias y fortalezas del municipio a nivel turístico y se logra generar un interés en la comunidad por participar de la actividad.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe following paper presents a proposal aimed to contribute the agrotourist development on the cacao communities located in San Vicente de Chucuri; Taking into account that this tourist activity typology has represented, for the communities where the environmental, cultural and economic development has been implemented, that joins the community tourism as a alternative choice for the region. It is also important to highlight Santander as the most important municipality regarding the cacao production in Colombia, earning the name of Cacao Capital thanks to its location which is a land rich in natural resources and therefore in tourism. Moreover, this paper aims to create a cultural appreciation to the farming through the tourism, creating a feeling of appropriation and pride for its citizens, in order to create a complete development for the community. This research was done hand to hand with the community, which helps to understand the municipality needs, weaknesses and strengths about the tourism and creates an interest inside the community to contribute to this activity.es_ES
