Propuesta de paquete turístico cultural a partir de los mitos y leyendas del municipio de Tena Cundinamarca.

Abstract

The following research paper develops a proposal of cultural tourist package which promotes the cultural identity in the municipality of Tena located in Cundinamarca from myths and legends, taking into account that this place has many tourist attractions which make possible the idea and allow to carry out this project. First of all, we considered some of theorys related to cultural tourism, tourist experience, intangible heritage and many others which are part of the contextualization of the research. Then, we established the main guidelines which regulate the project with the purpose of looking for the cultural intangible heritage preservation for a myth and legend strengthening, as well as the local coummunity and the scene where it develops. Furthermore, we gave the meaning of population and sample with the purpose of gathering the specific information to evaluate the viability and the current status of the touristic attractions. In addition, we realized interviews to involved people in tourist sector and surveys to the tourists/visitors in order to observe their expectations and motivations to adapt the tourist package. Finally, we established the proposal of the package generating the aspects previously mentioned under the economic features that allow to give benefits the tourist attractions and the local community.
