Vivas-Serrato, Carlos Alberto; Moreno-Moreno, Edgar Mauricio; Arévalo-Rodríguez, Miguel Snaider; Parra-León, Nydia
This document is prepared from the systematic review of the literature related to the evaluation of performance in the construction sector in Colombia, the review covered the period of time from 2013 to 2020, being used Dialnet and ScienceDirect, Scopus and Ebscohost from the repository of the National University of Colombia, National Learning Service Library, Scientific Electronic Library Online SciELO, dspace and academic Google, resulting in fifteen documents directly and indirectly related to the construction sector, finding that for In some cases, management mainly considers performance evaluation irrelevant for the business process, generating unnecessary costs, but in turn, for others it represents a generation of benefits for the organization, to the point of recognizing that if not applied, it may affect the decision. decision making. A significant case is the investigation carried out by SENA where two companies in the construction sector in the city of Manizales were evaluated, with the aim of discovering the perceptions regarding the performance evaluation that the staff has, the result of which is a remarkable evidence that shows that performance evaluation is not given the importance and relevance that it should have since management levels focus their attention on production and not on who does it, being possible to identify that it provides added value to the final product when done correctly.
