Oportunidades comerciales entre Colombia y Finlandia: Sector Agrícola, en el marco del TLC con la Unión Europea.

The objective of this document is analysing the commercial possibilities and opportunities in the agricultural sector that exist between Colombia and Finland, within the framework of the FTA with the European Union. To do this, a qualitative method and a descriptive investigation are used and the time periods included in the previous year’s 2008-2012 and later 2013-2018 first semester are taken as a reference; At the signing of the FTA, these periods were taken as reference the main products exported by each country during the same and then the comparison of trade between the two countries was made. The quantities and value of exports from each country were analysed in order to highlight which products have the greatest participation in the bilateral commercial relationship. It was found that in the primary sector is the greatest economic impact on the commercial relationship. It is found that some agricultural products have great potential to increase exports from Colombia to Finland, taking into account three Colombian products from the fruit and vegetable sector. and they are bought with the countries that most export these products worldwide, to know what those countries are doing to be in those positions. There is also a plan that is developing an organization belonging to the sector that seeks to strengthen the value chain of the sector in order to reach international markets.
