Estrategias replicables en Colombia con base a la experiencia de buenas prácticas de México y Chile en la OCDE
Vargas Rueda, Diana Alexandra; Mendez Betancourt, Johan Sebastian; Vega Clavijo, Gisell; Valencia G, Catherine
The research seeks successful strategies of good practices in the countries of Mexico and Chile within the framework of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD); in key issues for development such as: Agriculture, environment, education, foreign investment, poverty and inequality that can be replicated in Colombia as a new member. Initially, a comparison of the indicators at the time of their entry into the OECD is developed to identify the variation they have had during this time. Subsequently, success stories on good practices applied in Mexico and Chile are presented. In the last chapter, cases are selected that Colombia could replicate to improve the good practices based on the experience of the aforementioned countries. The three case studies show the initiative to improve their policies as emerging economies, and the OECD, acting as an agent for disseminating ideas, offers a global space where governments can improve their internal and external actions. One of the great conclusions is that a road full of opportunities awaits Colombia, but, at the same time, of challenges that can only be successful, if the government is a guarantor to the different strategies of the policies applied in the entire process of change or OECD insertion system.
