    Propuesta de Mejora en el Modelo Logístico de Almacenamiento de Medicamentos en la Empresa Internacional de Drogas SAS

    The purpose of this work is to design the logistic operation model for the storage process of the company DISTRIBUIDORA INTERNACIONAL DE DROGAS S.A.S., taking into account that, thanks to the information provided and interviews conducted with operational positions of the company, a failure in the logistic operation of the distribution center was evidenced, which corresponds to the progressive increase in the demand that exceeds the installed capacity of the company. In this research, the interaction between these actors has been analyzed; this research is not only supported by the regulations and previous studies of the sectors that comprise these products, but also by interviews and surveys. This research follows a descriptive approach that allowed discovering the perception of the norms established by the regulatory entities. Through the applied use of tools such as demand forecasts, inventory control, evaluation matrices and balanced scorecard, the model was defined and the alternatives were evaluated to determine the best option that adapts to the current needs of the company through a cost-benefit analysis.
