Oportunidad exportadora de la minería aurífera artesanal sostenible del Chocó para los mercados internacionales

The present investigation consists of determining the export opportunity of sustainable artisanal gold mining from Chocó in international markets, analyzed through a legal, environmental, and commercial policy comparison. A literature review was carried out where factors such as: sustainable development, Kuznets curve, trade balance and gold regulations in Colombia were identified. The production and commercialization process of sustainable artisanal gold mining in Chocó was described, indicating the requirements for their respective export such as the consignment of royalties, good bills, and Para fiscal contributions. On the other hand, it was determined that this type of mining does not generate environmental impact since the reformist trend of sustainable development indicates that it is an innovation based on the environmental problems that have been generated over the years due to bad practices reducing pollution and improving the efficiency of natural resources. From the point of view of international commercialization, databases and commercial policy instruments were used in conjunction with the country's mining laws to define the main gold importing countries by commercial volume, where the countries for which a gold import would be obtained were determined. In this way, according to the information obtained, it showed opportunities in the countries of Switzerland, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates through a comparison of barriers to trade.
