    Propuesta diseño de mejora en el proceso de picking en Ventas & Marcas S.A.S., basada en la implementación de la metodología DMAIC.

    The objective of this research work is to improve the picking process in the company Ventas & Marcas S.A.S., based on the implementation of the DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control). In the define stage, the aim is to identify the variables Y (output) and variables X (input), which directly impact the sale, costs and expenses of the company, additionally, project deliveries are defined taking into account, those involved and team building. In the measurement stage, the aim is to carry out a mapping of the current process in detail, to carry out a time study, to identify the rhythm of work performed by the workers. Additional evaluation of the capacity of the picking process for boxes and units. In the analysis stage, we seek to apply various Lean Manufacturing techniques to identify and analyze through statistics the possible causes that are generating the problem of the picking process. In the improvement stage, the improvements made through one of the Lean Manufacturing techniques called Kaizen are evidenced, which allows knowing the results of the improved process. And finally, it seeks to control the improvements (variables) made through the plan and daily monitoring of the picking process. Ending the project, the lessons learned from it are documented.
