For this reason, this work aims to determine what kind of strategies the Colombian state can implement taking into account the Chilean processes and to be able to increase the good use of these areas, generating greater economic benefits for Colombians. This work was carried out using a descriptive methodology under the theoretical framework of Klau’s competitiveness. As the main results are that the two countries on tax and benefits issues are very similar, the strategies that could be implemented would be in structure and level of competitiveness respect to the trade that occurs in these areas where they are transformed, sold and distributed products, improving the capacity of advice and training to the businessman in matters of import and export that is fundamental for the improvement of the processes for the opening of new international markets, giving the businessman the possibility of an accompaniment by specialists in commerce in the processes so that it is possible to enter several countries efficiently and with market analysis that seeks the adaptation and distribution of Colombian products without any mistake with the purpose that this type of areas become entrepreneurship fields with great international projection.
